Whispers of the Soil

Work in process

Inspired by stinging nettles, Whispers of the Soil explores the hidden processes in the soil. Through sculpture, light, and sound, the installation invites the viewer to encounter it as something living rather than static.

The work is made from papier-mâché clay using recycled cardboard egg cartons, reclaimed electronic components, and real soil and sand collected from my surroundings. Hidden beneath the surface, light and ambient sound gradually emerge, revealing a layer that usually remains unseen.
