This growing series of paintings, sculptures, and animations explores the tension between human presence and nature.

The landscapes I paint are based on real places where litter and nature merge. For a period of time, I photographed litter in natural surroundings wherever I happened to be. These images form the basis for a fictional landscape in progress: made up of individual canvases that connect, shift direction, and expand over time. 

Alongside the paintings, I'm developing sculptural elements The work is still in progress and develops in response to what I encounter in everyday life. Like weeds pushing through concrete, it keeps expanding, adapting to what the environment gives back.
